light

What is “Namaste?”

This morning, I was trying to explain to my 3 year old what “Namaste” means.

“The light in me, honours the light in you,” I said.

“We all have light in us, you know? It’s like a magical, powerful, sparkling light! Magic, you know?” She looked at me and confidently said: “Yup.” She does know! We, adults, need to be reminded about the “light,” kids just know it!

Namaste!
